Ontario Provincial Police are reminding people not to get out of their cars on busy highways after a Mississauga
man was killed Wednesday while changing a flat tire on the side of Highway 401.
The 53-year-old man was driving alone along the highway’s westbound lanes near Dixon Rd. when
he pulled over to change a driver-side tire on his car a little before 4 p.m., said OPP Const. Dave Woodford.
